Barritas de granola / Bars grain

INGREDIENTES

  • 2 tazas de avena
  • 3/4 taza de germen de trigo
  • 3/4 taza de semillas de girasol
  • 1 taza de maní, molido
  • 2/3 taza de azúcar rubia
  • 1/2 taza de miel
  • 4 cucharadas de mantequilla
  • 2 cucharaditas de extracto de vainilla
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • Aproximadamente 8 oz fruta seca (250g)

PREPARACIÓN

  • Precalienta el horno a 200Cº.
  • Desmenuza el maní y mézclalo con avena, germen de trigo y semillas de girasol en una fuente para horno con lados altos de 10 a 12 minutos. Revuélvelo pocos minutos para que no se queme.
  • Mientras tanto, forra con papel mantequilla un plato para hornear de vidrio (aproximadamente de 25 por 30cm.)
  • Aparte, pon el azúcar rubia, miel, mantequilla, vainilla y la sal en una olla y llévala a fuego lento, revolviendo constantemente.
  • Es el turno de los cereales y frutos secos que deben ser tostados, así que mezcla todo junto en un tazón grande.
  • Ahora combina los granos, el líquido y la fruta seca.
  • Mezcla todo muy bien y asegúrate de que todo está bien unido.
  • Ahora, vuelca la mezcla de granola en el molde para hornear.
  • Extiende la mezcla con una cuchara de madera o espátula, doble sobre los lados del papel de mantequilla y coloca otro papel mantequilla encima. Presiona con fuerza la granola.
  • Espera 2-3 horas o hasta que la granola se haya enfriado totalmente.
  • A continuación, abre el papel y gire con precaución el granola en una tabla de cortar grande.
  • Seguidamente con un cuchillo grande (no aserrado), cora la granola en el tamaño de barrita que desee.
  • Se pueden almacenar en un recipiente hermético, entre hojas de papel mantequilla (para que no se peguen).

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Approximately 8 oz dried fruit (250g)

 

PREPARATION

  • Preheat oven to 200Cº.
  • Crumbling peanuts and mix with oats, wheat germ and sunflower seeds in a baking dish with high sides for 10 to 12 minutes. Stir a few minutes to prevent burning.
  • Meanwhile, lined with parchment paper baking dish glass (about 25 by 30 cm.)
  • Besides, put the brown sugar, honey, butter, vanilla and salt in a saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
  • It is the turn of grains and nuts to be roasted, so mix everything together in a large bowl.
  • Now combine the beans, liquid and dried fruit.
  • Mix everything well and make sure everything is well connected.
  • Now, dumps the granola mixture in the baking pan.
  • Spread the mixture with a wooden spoon or spatula, fold over the sides of the paper of butter and place another butter on paper. Pressed hard granola.
  • Wait 2-3 hours or until the granola has cooled completely.
  • Then open the paper and carefully turn the granola in a large cutting board.
  • Then a large (not serrated) knife, Cora granola bar size you want.
  • They can be stored in an airtight container between sheets of wax paper (to prevent sticking).
