In pregnancy is normal having backaches and pelvis because of the effort you have to do in this area to bear the weight of the baby.

Many gynecologists are advising the use of maternal girdles, which are not intended to shape the figure, but help you to support the weight of the belly.

Experts explain that by week 25 of pregnancy, the baby begins to gradually increase weight, this may result in some women back pain (back) and pelvic (pelvis). So if it comes to wearing girdles, it is recommended that it is from this moment, when the weight of the baby starts to put pressure on the pelvis and thus the column works much account.

Such strips provide stability to the spine and help improve back position. But the use of these does not completely eliminate the hassles of the mother, but the relief.

A few years ago it was suggested that these bands with lower support could improve the pressure on the placenta and therefore the circulation of the same. It was recommended, even mothers whose babies may be pursuing with decreased fetal growth.

Yenny Mendez, gestante 26, is in her 25th week of pregnancy and already her obstetrician suggested the use of the mother strip, as had many episodes of back pain.

"The band that I use has taken away the lumbar discomfort and also helped me get a better posture to sit and walk, as this requires me to have my back straight and free of weight," says Yenny.

What kind of band is that should you use?

The band indicated for expectant mothers is specially designed for pregnancy, not to diminish measures much less pressing on the abdomen. Therefore, this type of belts should never be used without the recommendation of the obstetrician physician.

The ideal type of belt provides superior or inferior, or in some cases support only lower support, these NEVER put pressure on the abdominal area directly, so they do not affect the development and growth of the baby.

To take into account!

• Breast band seeks to alleviate discomfort. It is not an aesthetic fascia, or postural much less to hide the abdominal volume.

• The belt should be firm, but not cause difficulty or for movements or for respiration.

• The expectant mother should always be alert to any symptoms of emergency, such as bleeding, abdominal or pelvic discomfort.

• The belt should never cause pressure or pain, much less dizziness. Recourse to the specialist.
